Locks of love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. The locks of love website no longer has a list of participating salons. It says I can go to my local stylist but I don't really have a local stylist and I want to get my hair cut for free. Any suggestions ?

Donating your hair doesn't necessarily make it free; I donated at a salon in Fremont, and still had to pay for the haircut.
I'd say your best bet is to either do it yourself from home and send it in, or break out the phone book and starting calling local salons in the area. Good luck!
